[ROAD TO KOMSIS]:YOUTH

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
Assalamualaikum wrt.

Youth is a phase of life where men are courageous and bright; dreams the impossible; breakthrough the future unseen.

They are living the world seeing the dreams as reality, striking up on hard works where they can sway the people mind with the ideas they could generate, building the future, inspiring the leaders and preparing to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Today? The youth is fading.

The sad but truth reality is younger generations of today only fill their mind and souls with entertainment. They are easily being reactive just because their WiFi network was offline. The state of mind filled of what to wear today? (#ootd) Has my Facebook updated? How many likes do I get on my Instagram? Have I become the best to win the sport competition? Have I sang out loud for all to know what I’m eating today?

Yes, it is not wrong but it is a WASTE of time and a waste of talents.

In the book of God, Al-Quran mentions that we are created for certain purposes:

“And I have not created the ginn and mankind save that they may worship me. I do not desire any provision from them, and I do not wish them to feed me. Verily, God, He is the provider,”

51:56

Samuel Ullman once said ‘

‘Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.’

Through the past ages and decades, the scenery was a bit different.

Mehmet Al-Fatih conquered Constantinople at the age of 21. Sallehuddin Al-Ayyubi save the Palestinians and defeated The Crusaders in the Battle of Hittin during the age of 20’s.

How were those even possible? Answer: Youth.

Development of a strong nation demands on the youth’s resoluteness of will power, mighty determination, qualities of imaginations and tremendous grit. The quality of its youth determines the key future of a nation.

Intelligence once said:

“The foundation of every state is the education of its youth”.

The best way to empower the younger generations is by providing them with educations. But not just any kind of education but the kind of which makes them scientific, logical, open-minded, self-respecting, honouring the differences and encouraging the similarities, responsible, honest and the most important; patriotic.

Good habits formed at youth make all the difference.

My dear friends, there is nothing ever become too late and there’s always room for improvement. As the youth is not count as what age we are, but it is count by the determination and desired to make changes for the world to implore chances for better future.

As the first step you are encouraged to read a lot! Reading will seriously damage your ignorance. Once you read, you will realize what you ought to be and thoughtlessly it would shape your mind and soul to think more and do more. Start with something simple but never give up and never stop.

Keep in mind that we are today’s younger generations and the future leaders. The future is in our hands. The future is us.

Never let the fear striking up keep you from reaching the impossible.
